Plants VS Felines

Some work I did prior for my storyboard project in our CDA class. 3-week project where we generate an original cohesive short story, characters, script, and themes, and finally turn that into a feature storyboard.

FUN TIMES AHEAD.....

Plantastrophe!

An in-experienced young wizard must find the courage and self-worth in himself in order to save his friend from an evil magical monster!

THEMES: Courage, Bravery, Leadership

Decided one of my warm-up sketches should get a color treatment. Been wanting to get back into Photoshop and soon Sai Painter...

Btw, she's referenced from a certain colorful pony....

Visiting the Magic Kingdom

Long over due post, I know. Been busy finding part-time work and playing Kid Icarus. Which is exactly why I took my sketchbook with me this past week while looking for jobs for side-money.

Discovering that hipster fashion is very interesting to draw....

Saw the most adorable thing ever. A mini Merida from Brave. SO ACCURATE.

I just had to capture this moment...

Cutest couple EVER. Again, had to capture this truly magical moment  <3

What the, how did these ponies get into this post???

Inspired

Today I was invited with 5 other students to attend the Thursday session of Disney's Inspire Days.

Free bagles, behind the scenes on upcoming Disney shorts, an awesome tour around the studio, lunch/portfolio review with the Pro's, ERIC GOLDBERG, and meeting up with other schools was really INSPIRING.

Was then inspired when I got home to give color to this sketch I did of my friend Rachel.

At lunch in-between listening to Story Artists talk about portfolios, I drew these other students sitting at our table.

INSPIRALIZED by all the Disney Magic!!

Pony Post #7

Made a new banner for the CSUF Brony Group on Facebook. Gave me an excuse to practice with some new brushes I found online and get back to drawing the marshmallow ponies  :)

I made Jenna into a pony. She is amazed and confused I'm sure.

Yes. Yes you do.

Pony Post: Take 6

Just some Pony art that's been in my sketchbook and clipboard  :)

Pony Post: take SUN

I make a new wallpaper for my boyfriend now about once/2x a month of anything pony or game related. In celebration of his PS3 getting fixed now, here's is something that combined his love for Dark Souls and Ponies.

There's a character in Dark Souls named Solaire and you find him praising and trying to find the Sun multiple times in the game. Celestia represents the Sun in MyLittlePony. Praising was imminent.
