Happeh Halloween + Clown-Shark

First off:

Now that the pug has your attention, onto more Knott's Scary Farm shenanigans. Over the weekend had my dinner-break with some new and old Clown friends, returning with Luigi and Bro-Clown, along with meeting Totem and his teddy bear.

This guy has gained the skill to eat food through his mask with ease. It was like watching one of those Discovery Channel documentaries where the sharks eat seals and stuff in slo-mo. An epic sight to behold.

And I had to, Dustin. I couldn't resist. 

Have a fun and SAFE Halloween everyone!! Be careful of Clown-Sharks, as they are prone to sneak up on you and steal your candy, chicken tenders, and pizza.

Visiting the Magic Kingdom

Long over due post, I know. Been busy finding part-time work and playing Kid Icarus. Which is exactly why I took my sketchbook with me this past week while looking for jobs for side-money. 

Discovering that hipster fashion is very interesting to draw....

Life Drawing dump

Ugh, it's been a while since my last update. Haven't had much free time to get myself to a scanner so finally here's some life-drawing sketches that have been piling up in my clipboard.

I am really happy over some of these drawings. BIG THANKS to Chris Ybarra-llama and Tung Nguyen for helping me with rhythm and construction these past weeks. They directed me to view Dave Pimentel's, and Rad Sechrist's blogs on gesture drawing and helpful tips.   

First batch is from Dr. Sketchy's Life-Drawing workshop over at the studio I'm interning at; Titmouse Inc. The theme was "High School Football Rally".

2nd set is from CSUF's Pencil Mileage Club life-drawing nights.

Got a new moleskin sketchbook. Was thinking about what to draw on the cover. Hipster Stego was born.

Made these sketches first practicing Stego anatomy.
