Portrait of a Tired Young Girl

The college years HAVE NOT been kind to this girl.

These are just some sketches of my boyfriend's sister done in col-erase red (since she has dyed red/brown hair). Playing around with facial shapes and simplification. 

She hasn't had a fun time ever since entering the REAL WORLD of college and an exhausting on-and-off relationship. Literally have not seen her truly happy ever since high school. Just seems like she's missing out on her college yrs are unfortunately gonna pass her by....

Snow White Cottage Ruins Layouts

Concept layouts of a fantasy TOURISTS attraction for my Perspective course. It's a Legend House Museum showcasing Snow White's cottage in ruins since the prince never came for her. In the physical representation of these we have tracing paper with the human figures (and Snow White in her bed, still young and asleep) layed over.

Had tons of fun learning perspective techniques and even more designing everything beyond boxes. But my goodness, did I get stressed out to the EXTREME worrying on how my first ACCURATE layout background image would turn out.

Surprised I didn't do a Red Little Riding Hood....

That tree growing out from the side grew from the apple seed from the same apple  that cursed Snow 

Apple symbolism FTW!! The tree bracnhes hovering over her bed, still "trapping" her  in eternal slumber....

Skittles

Haven't posted in while. Hw and final projects are starting to flow in rather quickly. Sigh, have some Skittles and a red-head:

Guess I was too sleepy that Wednesday morning while getting dress to realize I was a walking talking raving BRIGHTLY colored skittle machine. My buddy Garrett noticed right away that afternoon.

He was describing our curriculum for the Fall semestetr and that we'd be watching all kinds of animation. Even an x-rated one from the 1970's that he says spawned the subculture of fuuurries....hence that pose there on the bottom.

These are super late posting up. Instead of taking pictures of the campgrounds I went to last week with Ron, I wanted to try sketching the landscapes. Practice foreground, middle ground, and background teachings from Cliff's summer class.
