Inspired

Today I was invited with 5 other students to attend the Thursday session of Disney's Inspire Days.

Free bagles, behind the scenes on upcoming Disney shorts, an awesome tour around the studio, lunch/portfolio review with the Pro's, ERIC GOLDBERG, and meeting up with other schools was really INSPIRING.

Was then inspired when I got home to give color to this sketch I did of my friend Rachel.

At lunch in-between listening to Story Artists talk about portfolios, I drew these other students sitting at our table.

INSPIRALIZED by all the Disney Magic!!

Pony Post #7

Made a new banner for the CSUF Brony Group on Facebook. Gave me an excuse to practice with some new brushes I found online and get back to drawing the marshmallow ponies  :)

I made Jenna into a pony. She is amazed and confused I'm sure.

Yes. Yes you do.

Backsides

Started drawing friends who were just taking and working in the classroom. Unfortunately got lot of people from the back...

Such an urge to color this one; she was wearing so many nice colors  <3

The moment he put that comb through that hair, he was a MAN.

She's So Super

Boyfriend is in DC-mode right now. Got me into the mood to draw some Supergirl but for she actually is: a teenager. A goofy, loopy, playful teenage girl that shoots lasers from her eyes.

I know I should've practiced more action poses since she IS also an action superhero. I'll get some action gestures when I get to drawing some Wondergirl  :)

Life Drawing dump

Ugh, it's been a while since my last update. Haven't had much free time to get myself to a scanner so finally here's some life-drawing sketches that have been piling up in my clipboard.

I am really happy over some of these drawings. BIG THANKS to Chris Ybarra-llama and Tung Nguyen for helping me with rhythm and construction these past weeks. They directed me to view Dave Pimentel's, and Rad Sechrist's blogs on gesture drawing and helpful tips.

First batch is from Dr. Sketchy's Life-Drawing workshop over at the studio I'm interning at; Titmouse Inc. The theme was "High School Football Rally".

2nd set is from CSUF's Pencil Mileage Club life-drawing nights.

Cranberry

I couldn't resist sipping on some of my friend's vodka mix while out dancing this past weekend. She was having too much fun to notice.

Drew this on a Cintiq at my work. Felt good. As good I was feeling later that night.
